The aim of Project Yele is to set up a a physical location where entrepreneurs can hire a location, power and possible needed equipment to run their business like for example power tools and a lighting solution: the Community Bazaar. Making the electricity available at one central place to stimulate industry and economic activity. In cooperation with Delft Centre of Entrepreneurship SIFE Delft will select 5 successful business ideas to implement in the Community Bazaar, for example: a shop which sells cooled drinks, welding equipment, an automatic saw for a carpenter, or a station to recharge lamps. Furthermore, SIFE Delft will be responsible for the development of the business model and the physical design of the market place. Under supervision of the Lion Heart Foundation, locals will be involved in running the Community Bazaar. |
